E na Fabrilis, indústria especializada na produção de móveis únicos e de alto padrão, isso não foi diferente. Mas, a empresa encontrou seu caminho para chegar à transformação digital.
Para identificar suas reais necessidades, a Fabrilis teve seus processos mapeados por um de seus parceiros de negócios, a TopSolid’Brasil, que também apresentou o potencial da solução ARDIS®. Foi nesse momento que a empresa identificou a ferramenta como a mais adequada para fazer a integração entre as máquinas.
Apesar do ARDIS® oferecer diversos módulos, a Fabrilis optou por uma função específica, que otimiza o uso de materiais e de matéria-prima, além de atuar no reaproveitamento de chapas e produtos para os próximos lotes.
De acordo com Sidnei Zago, cofundador e diretor industrial da Fabrilis, para produzir peças únicas é preciso ter um alto controle de variáveis e flexibilidade nos processos. Essa complexidade exige uma estrutura robusta de gestão. O diretor costumava dizer que

Michael Kerckhofs (planning and automation) manages daily production planning. “The application’s strongest point is definitely the batching, which can be used very flexibly,” he says.
A key benefit for Horemans lies in material usage, thanks to ARDIS®’s optimization and scrap management applications: "Our yield is very good. We purchase fewer sheets, simply because we optimize better today than we did in the past."
Whereas paper folders used to circulate between different workstations, Horemans now operates largely paperless, using screens, labels, and real-time feedback. “In the past, paper documents had to be printed, and people relied heavily on experience. Now, thanks to clear and simple screens, every work cell knows exactly what to do and in what order.” This creates a sense of calm, clarity, and achievable daily goals.
For Kristof Horemans, the “return on investment” lies not only in productivity but also in satisfied employees. “Machines are being utilized more effectively.
