Today, planning mostly lives in a spreadsheet — managed one resource at a time. It works until something shifts: a rush order, a machine down, a late delivery. Then every job has to move left and right, across every resource, the plan no longer matches the floor, and the shop falls back on ad-hoc firefighting. The bigger or busier you get, the faster it breaks.

Then, every component gets a physical due date. Not a vague “due next week,” but a concrete date for each step: sawn by, CNC’d by, edge-banded by, assembled or installed by. The whole chain is anchored to the date that actually matters: the ship or install date.
Fine-tune where you need to. Override the plan by hand (e.g. move a job to another machine, change the run order, slot in a rush) and every dependent due date re-aligns around it, automatically.
